The Opportunity

Build the Future with Us

Join our St John’s, Newfoundland team as a Civil Engineering Technologist / Technician and contribute to meaningful municipal infrastructure projects that support growing communities. In this role, you’ll bring designs to life and help deliver impactful infrastructure solutions, from concept through construction.


Your Impact

  • Prepare conceptual and detailed design layouts, sketches, and drawings

  • Produce civil/municipal engineering drawings and 3D modeling

  • Coordinate and check drawings with other engineering disciplines

  • Prepare quantity estimates to support project planning and delivery

  • Monitor and inspect construction operations to ensure compliance with engineering design, site standards, and specifications

  • Investigate field and design problems and prepare reports

  • Liaise with clients, authorities, and contractors

  • Conduct site visits and inspections to support project execution


The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Civil Engineering Technology/Technician diploma from an accredited college

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D

  • Experience working as part of a multi-discipline design team

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with clients and team members

  • Experience with design of municipal infrastructure projects including water, sanitary, and stormwater projects would be considered an asset

  • Experience with Department of Municipal and Community Affairs standards would be considered an asset

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $77,400 - $102,500
MB & ON: $70,600 - $97,200
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $69,900 - $92,900
