We are seeking a Sales Lead - Healthcare who understands that introducing advanced technology into healthcare requires patience, credibility, and collaboration. Someone who enjoys working in complex environments, guiding thoughtful adoption journeys, and helping organizations explore what’s possible.
This role is based in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, and requires frequent travel across Canada and the United States to support partner engagement, demonstrations, and collaborative development efforts.
What You’ll Do
Build trusted relationships with healthcare organizations, clinicians, research institutions, and innovation leaders.
Identify and engage early adopter partners interested in exploring advanced visualization technologies.
Work alongside healthcare teams to understand workflows, challenges, and opportunities where new capabilities could create meaningful value.
Demonstrate and validate the potential of advanced visualization technology in real-world healthcare environments.
Support exploratory pilots, demonstrations, and collaborative discovery initiatives.
Help Avalon and its partners define practical pathways for adoption through structured evaluation and iterative learning.
Translate healthcare insight into meaningful direction for engineering and product teams.
Represent Avalon at conferences, demonstrations, and strategic meetings.
Contribute to long-term partnership strategies that support validation, trust-building, and sustained adoption.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field such as healthcare, life sciences, biomedical engineering, health administration, engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience working within healthcare, medical technology, research, or clinical environments.
Experience introducing complex or emerging technologies into regulated or institutionally complex environments is an asset.
Technical curiosity and comfort engaging with advanced technologies such as visualization platforms, simulation tools, imaging systems, or other complex technical solutions is an asset.
Demonstrated ability to navigate long, consultative adoption cycles involving multiple stakeholders and technical validation.
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish credibility with clinicians, researchers, executive leaders, and technical teams.
Strategic thinking and comfort working in exploratory environments where pathways to adoption are still being defined.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely across multidisciplinary teams.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Canada and the United States
