As an Applications Engineer Co-op student, you’ll help build technical scenarios, research real-world use cases, and support the development of application-driven demonstrations. You’ll gain hands-on experience working at the intersection of engineering, product development, and real-world problem solving.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll work closely with Applications, Engineering, and Product teams to support research, technical scenario development, and demonstration readiness.

• Research real-world use cases across industries such as defense, healthcare, and entertainment.

• Develop and test technical scenarios that demonstrate the capabilities of our technology.

• Work with real datasets or simulated environments to build and validate application scenarios.

• Assist in building application workflows and validating technical outcomes.

• Support preparation of demonstration content and technical scenarios.

• Collaborate with Engineering teams to refine and test application concepts.

• Document findings, workflows, and technical outcomes for internal teams.

• Identify opportunities to improve scenario workflows and demonstration effectiveness.

• Contribute to special projects that explore new applications of holographic technology.

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently enrolled in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Software) or a related co-op post-secondary program.

• Strong interest in understanding how technology applies to real-world problems.

• Naturally curious and motivated to research, explore, and figure things out independently.

• Comfortable taking ownership of projects and running with ideas from concept through execution.

• Confident working with direction but without requiring constant step-by-step instruction.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to document technical workflows and communicate findings clearly.

• Comfortable working across teams including Engineering, Product, and Applications.

• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to take initiative.
