We're hosting a 72-hour Build Lab in Newfoundland - and we're looking for student developers who are ready to do real work.
This isn't a hackathon. You won't just practice. You'll ship.
Here’s the premise: you’ll be placed on a team, handed a real client brief, and given 72 hours to design and ship a production-ready solution. No toy projects. No simulated problems. Real deliverables, real stakes, real experience.
This event is built for:
- International students currently studying in Newfoundland (50%+ of your team must qualify)
- Self-taught developers with demonstrable skills
- Solo developers — you'll be grouped with others to form a team
- Teams of 2–4 who want more than another practice project on their resume
What you’ll walk away with:
- A production-ready build you actually shipped
- Real client kickoff and stakeholder experience
- Mentorship from industry professionals throughout the sprint
- Portfolio-level, verified work experience
- Letter of participation
- $100 per participant — awarded to every member of the winning team
If you’re a student developer in Newfoundland who’s tired of practicing and ready to build something that matters — this is for you.
Build under pressure. Build with purpose. Build applied.
